In regards to revealing prior to going live, I'm sure Linsey will keep her word. We have a lot of work to do before we get to that point though, and we want to make sure that all the proposed changes are welcomed by both the PvE and PvP communities.

Of course there will be a skill update. Everyone knows that. What we're asking is WHEN the update will be. Is it coming this month? Next month? So far no one has answered that question. If there was a source cited somewhere then please link it.
Also if the update will be this month then the preview should have been released by now?

@ Broseiden: While the Test Krewe is small, we are from all over the place. A few of us are use to working with the community as a whole. If you have suggestions for us, feel free to pm me your suggestions. Thus everyone's thoughts and opinions are taken into account, when I make my posts with ideas to anet.
@ Martin Alvito: Lol..Who isn't? XD Jk
@ Giga_Gaia: About the skill update - We can not say anymore than what is already known by the open public. Thus we can't really say when the update will be, except that there will be one.
@ Thamior Shamus: I'm sorry, what do you mean the date remains the same? Its scheduled for the 19th (for the MAT). As for the PvP side of Guild wars it is still represented. The QP were dropped to 15. PvE is still very big though and most be represented.
@ Rahja: /agree about "Patience is a virtue people!"
@ Kaleban: Does this means we can't win with you, can we?
@ Xenex Xclame: No need for bad jokes -_-

Why don't we all complain enough until we destroy this game outright. 4 years and still the "designers" are nerfing skills only so they have a reason to keep their jobs. This has nothing to do with enhancing your gaming experience. Just people needed to do something to keep theirs jobs in tact. I have never seen so much disdain from a game maker to the people who play their game most. You call it skill balancing, I call it a slap in the face of all the people who took their time perfecting the way they play this game. Over and over we have been forced to watch changes being made to Guild Wars. These "designers" won't rest until the only skill left is Resurrection Signet. It's a shame, this game was good until the GM's got their claws into it. Just like society we cater to the inept and punish the talented.

Chakra Gorn, maybe you'd have a better understanding of all this if you were to read the threads.
You are wrong about enhancing the gaming experience. Shadow Form players aren't playing and neither are the players who are left out of the group.
Shadow Form copy pasta builds don't make one talented.

Be careful, don't want to wake up the anet attack sheep. Actually I have a conspiracy theory about this. Nerf the hell outta PvE (which has kept this game alive) and make the majority of the people leave. Even the most patient PvEer will give up eventually. Then all you have left are the hardcore, anet-can-do-no-wrong crowd. Shut down the GW servers, this crowd will forgive anything you do anyway. Then everyone can move over to GW2 and finish/polish it up. (which I actually wouldn't be against, can only play throught the game so many hundreds of times without it getting repetative)

I am tired of the people that say shadow form is too terrible to keep in the game its too powerful its too this too that. Buy factions make a perma play perma its not 123 easy as that and if you think so then you are truly among the inept and have no business speaking on this issue. If you are too terrible to find a group don't blame me because I am not.

That's not pointed directly at SF but at all the "skill balance" changes over the years, and I've been around for enough of them.

So quick to say one is a lesser player there. So what happens if you're a skilled player without x profession with y build?
Whoooa... You didn't think about that.

lol how can you be a good player and not have all professions and all skills needed to be so? You claim that no matter the skills a good player will do well. This is not true however since if I was an awesome player but only had 8 skills to my name would anyone know it? No. I wouldn't think I was a good player either because I couldnt manage to get the skills needed to be good.

it really kind of is as easy as that. as long as SF stays up, you stay up. i've used SF in teams in UW, FoW, DoA, and for various other things. it really is as easy as 123.

lol, you must never have faced any touchers then as a perma and learned to fight through it. My point is that all classes and all builds take time to learn and perfect. You weren't "God of Perma" as soon as you got SF were you? No one is because it takes skill and time perfecting the build.

Holy deja vu! I remember all of this arguing when Ursan was all the rage. Same exact thing.
Guess what guys, once one meta goes another will takes it's place and this argument will start all over again.
And Chakra, SF really is easy, it takes almost no time to learn and perfect.

Skill balances are unnecessary? Oh, ok, we should go back to nature spirits being unremovable, stacking and global. The game would be better then!

Whether SF should or should not be nerfed at this point is superfluous. It will be nerfed.

Everybody has same problems when facing touchers , some ppl will defeat them in X time , some in Y , doesnt matter.

No , you are wrong. A monkey can use that build with 1 hand , without looking at the screen just checking a timer for SF reuse time.
Dont be mistaken , learn how to play / farm in X place =\= learn how to use an SF build.

Thanks for making my point for me, it takes time to perfect it which is where the skill becomes a factor. How can you refuse this fact? Yes Perma is easier in the end than others but it is just the same to learn which is where my first point comes in. This is a game. As such people who spend their time playing this game shouldn't need to have to "relearn" how to play it every six months because the designers decide it to be that way.

Again some take more time some take less time but that time proves there is skill involved. As for a monkey with 1 hand? This just shows how all you whiners that are so concerned with how permas play are just that inept little kid sad that he can't join a team. Tired of hearing the same noise from the population of nubs that blame their in game problems on permas taking over. Thats the difference. I have never heard a perma say that 600/smite duo is too powerful. They need to nerf that. Or that 55 monk can go places I can not someone nerf that! Only you guys that worry more about how I play my game to play yours well.

My good sir I request you to look through this update:
http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Game.../2008_December
There is a reason why the community has been in a nerf frenzy, because Anet implements updates such as these without reviewing their changes until there is a big enough stink. Instead of changing functionalities to creative ideas (such as illusion of pain) we get skills that destroy any balance a class has in favor of bigger numbers for the players(mind blast). The fact that I get laughed at by my guild when stating how searing flames is OP is quite disturbing, and a clear indicator that people have forgoten how bad the powercreep has become.
